Kin is Home Made

It all started with a family vacation.

I wanted an AI chatbot that could live in a group message with my wife and I, help us plan the trip, and actually remember what we had talked about. But nothing like that existed. The tools that came close were either a horrible user experience, didn't allow for group messages, or forgot everything after each thread.

So I built my own.

The first version of Kin was just for my wife and I. It let us chat, plan, and stay organized with an assistant that understood our life. But as we started using it more, I saw the real potential.

What we discovered was that we could build a better way to live together. A way to manage the chaos, hold on to the moments that matter, and let technology handle the noise so we could be more present in real life.

Most tech isn’t built to help us prioritize what matters most. Kin is.
